Ward & Selvage
A classic, editorial site for a craft business: serif type, real photography, and fitting booking on the first screen.
I design and build websites, apps and custom software around the way your business works. Scroll to watch a website come together, layer by layer.
Before color or photos, every element gets its place on a grid, at every screen size, so the page reads in the right order.
Real photographs, cropped for each screen and compressed so they load fast and stay sharp, down to the weave of the cloth.
Typefaces chosen for the business: headlines that carry across a room, details that stay easy to read on a phone.
Movement guides the eye to what matters most, like the button that books a fitting.
Ward & Selvage is a concept build: the tailor is fictional, while the design, the code and the motion are real. This is how I build and create.
Let's build yours

The concepts below are interactive websites for fictional local businesses, each built to show a different kind of site. The last is a real one: the live site of my own consultancy. Open any of them and try it.
A classic, editorial site for a craft business: serif type, real photography, and fitting booking on the first screen.
A bold, industrial site with two tools built in: an instant estimate, and a repair tracker where customers see each step and approve repairs from their phone.
A bright, playful site where owners build their dog's groom, see the time and price before booking, and get a photo report card.
The live site of the consultancy I run, designed and built by me. Restraint is the point: midnight navy and parchment, and a 3D network that turns slowly behind the words and settles into a diagram of the method as you scroll.
*Measured with Google Lighthouse's phone test, a simulated mid-range phone on slow 4G: the concepts on a Netlify draft on October 23, 2026, and the live Forward Intrinsic site on October 28, 2026. The time is how long each site takes to show its main content. The automated accessibility check ran axe-core 4.10.3 with its WCAG 2.2 AA rules on every page of forwardintrinsic.com at desktop and phone widths, October 28, 2026.
Every site starts with Website Setup at $950, then you pick the features your business will use. Add-on prices are one-time.
See all pricesOne more page, built to match the rest.
I set up a booking tool such as Square Appointments or Calendly and connect it to your site. Already use one? Connecting it is part of Website Setup.
Take orders online, with payments set up through Square, Shopify or WooCommerce. You add and change your own products there.
Change your text, photos, hours and prices, and post news, events or staff yourself, without breaking the design.
List open jobs and get applications by email.
Customer accounts, with pages only members can see.
An assistant that answers customer questions from your own hours, services and prices, or a tool that sorts and summarizes requests for you.
Form entries go straight into the CRM or email tool you already use, such as HubSpot, Mailchimp or Zoho.
A logo for your business if you do not have one yet, matched to your site and sized for your Google listing and social profiles.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC records on your domain, so mail servers can reject email that fakes your business's address.
Free with every site: step-by-step instructions for turning on two-step login for your domain, Google listing, business email, social and payment accounts.
A one-page report on your current site: HTTPS, security headers, outdated software, and domain and certificate renewals.

Custom tools, such as an instant estimate, a repair tracker or a groom builder, are built for your business and quoted before any work starts.

Before you decide anything, I will show you what customers see today when they look you up on Google, at no charge.
Start with Website Setup at $950 and pick the add-ons you want. You see every price before I start. Half is due at signing and half at launch.
I build the site and you review it. Two rounds of changes are included. Most sites are finished in a week, and even the most complex take less than a month.
Your site goes live, your Google listing points to it, and your booking, ordering or call buttons work from day one.
A monthly care plan hosts the site and keeps it up, correct and secure. Plans are optional and month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. If you would rather run the site yourself, it moves into your own hosting account at launch.
Your domain is registered in your name, not mine, and your website's files are yours to take with you at any time, at no charge.
